Monday Poetry – Fill My Soul

Monday Poetry – Fill My Soul

I throw back my head and howl

howl at the emptiness, the void.

Drained

Reduced

Used

Unappreciated

Ugly Past

Dung colored breath surrounds me

Where is the happiness?

Where is the joy?

Green springs to life

bringing yellow, pink, red, white

What about priorities?

What about service?

What about my soul?

It’s time to refill the well of my soul.
